Wedding Wednesday: Kelsy NielsonPosted: July 20, 2011 | |
This week I would like to focus on some wonderful photographic talent going on in our lovely (but rainy) city of Edmonton! One in particular, the lovely Kelsy Nielson! We were honoured to have her shoot my sisters wedding which was just last month (almost ago month now, Happy one month Anniversary Kassey and Alex!) Kelsy was a blast to spend the day with! Not only did she come over to the house to hang out with us while we all got ready bright and early, she captured St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church beautifully, and then took us over to the 104th Street Farmer’s Market where we later ended up at the AGA to take more pictures. Just a few days ago, Kelsy was kind enough to post some pictures from the day of the wedding on her blog. I was so excited to see how they turned out, and she captured the day perfectly! The day has come and gone, but Kelsy’s photos will forever remind us of the amazing day that was my sisters wedding. Take a look at the photos below… the Paperhearts girls were out in full force for this occassion!
(Left to right) A great shot of my sister’s veil from Pure Bridal. Hey! That’s me! I’m just participating in the Ceremony of the Crowns (I was very nervous – we had a full house!) I am wearing a Bari Jay dress from Pure Bridal.
My favourite comment about this photo was from my Dad, “Where are their heads?” Dad, photography has changed since you got married! Cool things like this are able to happen, just look at how adorable this is! (Alex’s suit is custom made from Mr. Maxwell with a Burberry tie from Holt Renfrew.)
Here are the newly named Mr. and Mrs. Koumarelas walking through the downtown Farmer’s Market. Let me tell you, I am ready to dress up every weekend in a fancy dress – we got tons of swag! A family size bag of kettle corn, a bag of radishes, baklava, coffee from Credo, the vendors at this market were so friendly! It was such a treat to have them be a part of the day.
Boys vs. Girls. We obviously won! The AGA made for beautiful shots!
Michelle from Behind the Scenes Events and her assistant did an amazing job at turning the Polish Hall into a vision for the evening. They did a phenomenal job at turning the hall into a wedding wonderland. (Menus, and table numbers done by yours truly – the Paperhearts Studio girls!)
